Listed below is a summary of the basic policies governing Hitchcock's Hideaway and our guests:

  1. Confirmation of Booking
    Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the signed 'Agreement for Use' form and the requested deposit.

  2. Deposits, Cancellations and Refunds:
    Deposits: 50 percent of the total estimated bill at the time of booking
    Cancellation Notice and Refunds:
    • sixteen weeks or more, full deposit refund
    • twelve weeks, one half of deposit refunded
    • less than ten weeks, deposit will be forfeited

  3. Multiple Bookings
    Hitchcock's Hideaway reserves the right to accommodate more than one rental group at a time. Exclusive rights to the facilities may incur and additional charge.

  4. Estimate of Numbers:
    An estimate of guests is required at the time of booking. A final quote on the number of guests is required fourteen working days prior to the group's arrival date. This final quotation will form the minimum total for billing purposes.

  5. Pricing:
    The pricing will be determined by group size, and type of function.
  7. Users of Campers and Trailers: Non service camp sites only with access to showers and bathroom facilities

  8. Pets:
    Pets of guests are not allowed at Hitchcock's Hideaway

  9. Billing Procedures:
    Groups will be billed at the conclusions of their stay. Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice. A service charge of 2% will be applied on all overdue accounts more than 15 days.

  10. Damage Liability:
    Organizations and individuals booking Hitchcock's Hideaway are responsible for costs incurred as a result of needless damage or loss caused by their participants. Confirmation of the booking constitutes an acceptance of this liability.

  11. Recreational Equipment and Swimming:
    Hitchcock's Hideaway will not be responsible for any injuries occurring from the use of recreational equipment. The beach area is unsupervised; guests swim at their own risk. All recreation equipment will be returned to the designated areas or there will be a $50.00 additional charge. For all groups and individuals, there will be a credit card imprint required or a $100.000 damage deposit. Deposits will be returned if policies are followed.
